Staycation Part 2

After the excitement of the Macurdas and when all of the Easter celebrations were over the kids still had a week of vacations. So we decided to spend it wisely. We went biking and found this awesome ramp and playground. We had lunch and just enjoyed being together. 

We headed out of town and went to a glass making factory, where we toured the factory and blew are own glass. Phil made a beer mug, Lucy made a vase, Clark a mini beer mug, Piper made a glass egg and I made a vase. They had glass blowers on hand to show you how and they helped with a lot of it. You could pick different dyes to make different colors and they also had different molds for the finishes. 

 We also spent lots of time biking and hanging out with friends.

We took a quick drive to Dresden for a bit of grocery and TKMaxx (think TJMAxx but Europe version) shopping. Other than that we just enjoyed being together, playing games and watching movies. Exactly what I love to do during vacations. 

Macurda's and Easter

Look who came to visit! Bill, Kristen, William, Caroline and Grace! These are dear friends from Charlotte whom we LOVE! And it was such a blessing to get a few days with them as they were traveling through Europe. Such jet setters! 

These two are crazy together. 

 We got great time out and about, but also a lot of great time just home together.
